OPEN SPACE KITCHEN CONVERSION

Overview: This project transformed an existing kitchen and garage into a unified, open-plan kitchen space. The design incorporated Crittall-style French doors and windows and cedar cladding to create a modern and stylish aesthetic.

Design and Materials: Black Crittall-style French doors and windows were chosen to provide a striking visual element and maximize natural light. The exterior was enhanced with cedar cladding, adding warmth and a natural texture that contrasts beautifully with the black metalwork.

Installation: The conversion required careful planning and execution to seamlessly integrate the former garage space with the kitchen. The installation of the Crittall-style doors and windows was crucial in defining the new space and creating a sense of openness.

Outcome: The project successfully created a bright, spacious, and modern open-plan kitchen. The Crittall-style features and cedar cladding combine to create a sophisticated and inviting environment, perfect for both cooking and entertaining.
