CINEMA ROOM ENHANCEMENT

Overview: This project involved the installation of a set of aluminium bi-fold doors and a coordinating side window for a dedicated home cinema room extension. A critical client requirement was the integration of electric blackout blinds that could operate independently of the door configuration, enabling a complete blackout environment for optimal viewing.

Design and Materials: High-quality aluminium bi-fold doors were chosen for their sleek profile and smooth operation, providing a wide opening when desired. A matching window unit was installed alongside the doors to allow for natural light when the cinema is not in use. The key design element was the specification of integral electric blackout blinds, discreetly housed within the door and window frames. These blinds were chosen for their ability to completely block out external light.

Installation: The installation process demanded meticulous attention to detail to ensure the seamless integration of the doors, window, and the integral electric blackout blind system. Wiring was carefully concealed to maintain a clean and uncluttered aesthetic, crucial for a dedicated cinema space.

Outcome: The completed cinema room extension features a stylish set of bi-fold doors and a complementary window, enhanced by fully automated integral electric blackout blinds. Controlled via a remote, the blinds offer effortless adjustment of light and the ability to achieve a complete blackout, regardless of whether the doors are open or closed. This resulted in a high-performance cinema space, free from light interference and offering complete automation for an immersive viewing experience.
